Abstracts

Conference abstract submissions underwent rigorous peer-review, the top 16 scoring abstracts were selected for oral presentations at the conference and published in the SAGE Journal 'Advances in Rehabilitation Science and Practice' (2.3 impact factor). Other abstracts were selected for poster presentations.

The sponsorship funding was used to support BSPRM and the delivery of the annual scientific conference. The sponsorship did not influence, nor did the sponsors participate or be involved in, the event (e.g. preparation of materials, delivery of educational content) as part of this sponsorship agreement. The sponsors exhibited at the event at their allocated promotional stand space or delivered a sympsosium event which was separate from the conference content and was clearly delivered on behalf of the sponsor. This sponsorship agreement is to promote educational, medical, scientific and/or charitable purposes and is not done in exchange for any explicit or implicit agreement or understanding that either party will purchase, administer, sell, supply, use, consume, prescribe, purchase, lease, order, recommend any goods or services.

Conference Report

Sneha Thomas wrote a great article summarising the BSPRM Conference in November 2024, published in the ACNR (Advances in Clinical Neuroscience and Rehabilitation). It is fantastic to have medical students actively contributing on behalf of our society and BSPRM looks forward to engaging with them even more in 2025.
