Purpose
The purpose of the Research and Clinical Standards Committee is to maintain and develop clinical standards and facilitate and stimulate research in the field of Rehabilitation Medicine
Strategic Aims
Our strategic aims are to:
- Undertake a review of the current state of academic rehabilitation medicine, develop systems to monitor research rehabilitation medicine capacity and increase numbers of the rehabilitation medicine academic workforce across the UK
- Support rehabilitation medicine trainees who wish to develop research skills and follow a clinical academic career
- Increase the profile of the BSPRM as a research active organisation
- Develop and support research for active NHS Clinicians
- Promote involvement of stake holders, patients and public in rehabilitation research
